Moncement Building Materials LLC will collaborate with UNICEF to improve access to education
UNICEF has signed an contribution agreement Moncement Building Materials LLC, under which the two companies will contribute to activities aimed at improving access to education as part of their corporate social responsibility. This engagement will support the education of children in remote rural areas.
As part of this initiative, Moncement will collaborate with local authorities to upgrade and equip the digital classroom of Örgön soum school in Dornogovi province, provide support to address learning loss, and organize summer training programs to enhance teachers' capacities.

During the event, Ms.Munkhnasan N., Chairwoman of Monpolymet Group, remarked:
“While private sector entities operate their businesses, they are also among the main contributors to the state budget. However, it remains questionable whether the taxes we pay through our hard work are truly reaching the fundamental social sectors such as education and healthcare in an equitable and effective way. In other words, when public spending fails to reach those most in need, the private sector is often compelled to take the lead in addressing social issues—even during times of economic difficulty.
In today’s era of rapid technological advancement, the need to improve access to digital infrastructure and equipment for students—especially those in remote rural areas—is greater than ever. Monpolymet Group, in partnership with UNICEF, has initiated a project to modernize digital classrooms and provide training for local teachers and students.
Every child has the right to quality education in a safe and healthy environment. Ensuring equal access to education regardless of geographic location is fundamental to nurturing a knowledgeable, skilled generation and shaping the future of Mongolia. Therefore, I trust that our policymakers will prioritize more effective and consistent policies to improve teacher availability, enhance learning environments, and support the overall development of the education sector.”
Previously, Moncement, a subsidiary of Monpolymet Group, partnered with UNICEF to support early childhood development through the “Teacher with Tablet” initiative. The results of this project will be presented in August.

Moncement Building Materials LLC of the Monpolymet Group was selected as one of the TOP 100 enterprises.
For the 20th time, Monpolymet Group has been selected as one of Mongolia's "TOP-100" enterprise and the best responsible tax payer since it started operating in the fields of heavy industry, construction and development. It is necessary to put an stop to government intervention, pressure, and duplicated inspections in the activities of enterprises and national producers who bear the weight of the economic burden of our country. 2024 has brought difficult times of unfair pressures and challenges.
Subsidiaries were investigated and harassed for no reason, and the activities of the Toson mining plant were completely shut down. For us, it has been a huge loss in terms of health, morale, economy, and human resources, however, our team has completed the rehabilitation work by using our own resources and manual techniques. The government's decision to reduce the import duty on cement is not easy and unfair competition for national producers, neverthelles, we are overcoming this problem with the support of their customers who value quality and standards. Because our team is fully aware that the basis of Mongolia's development is national production, we are full of enthusiasm to maintain the value and jobs we have created for more than 30 years and to do more in the future.
