Supporting innovation and best practices, let’s build better future together!
"Moncement Building Materials" LLC, backed by investments from Monpolymet Group and supported by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), initiated the establishment of a cutting-edge dry method cement plant complex in 2015. Situated in Urgon Soum, Dornogobi province, this facility stands as a beacon of innovation with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons of premium-quality cement. It represents a pivotal moment in Mongolia's construction materials production and supply sector, integrating state-of-the-art methods, techniques, and technologies sourced from around the globe.
In addition to the cement plant, a clinker processing facility has been strategically established in Ulaanbaatar, boasting a production capacity of 120 tons per hour. This strategic placement ensures seamless operations and timely delivery to the customer base, reinforcing the commitment to efficiency and customer satisfaction.
This landmark achievement in Mongolia's building materials industry is distinguished by its comprehensive approach, incorporating optimal raw material utilization, streamlined transportation logistics, environmentally sustainable practices, and cutting-edge technical expertise. Remarkably, it holds the distinction of being the nation's first ECO factory, pioneering a new era of environmentally conscious manufacturing practices and setting a commendable standard for the industry.
WHRPG (Waste heat recovery power generation) system for recycling waste gas and generating electric power, for the first time in Mongolia
Moncement Building Materials LLC has been, since its inception, committed to employing environmentally friendly practices and embracing innovative technologies in its operations. In addition to its clinker processing line, the company has pioneered the utilization of a Waste Heat Recovery Power Generation (WHRPG) plant in Mongolia. This groundbreaking initiative harnesses waste gas to generate both electricity and thermal energy. Leveraging internationally recognized Rankine Cycle technology, the system effectively converts the substantial waste heat, ranging from 350 to 450 degrees Celsius, from the Preheater and clinker cooler into valuable energy resources.
